Q. How long does the course take to complete?

A. The course is designed so you can work at your own pace. We recommend that you commit to a certain amount of time each week so that you can maintain some momentum and keep the information fresh in your mind.

Q. Are there assessments or assignments?

A. Yes there are two assignments with each course. This is a good way for students to get personal feedback on what they have learnt and find out how they have applied that information into their writing.

Your course tutor will then contact you and offer advice or recommendations based on your submission.

Q. What is the procedure for contacting my tutor?

A. There is no set procedure, however email or fax works best. Generally, tutors will not take phone calls if they are working with course participants. Your tutor will respond within 24 hours via email to any queries you may have.

Q. Is there a deadline for starting or finishing the course?

A. No, not at all. The course has been designed to allow participants to work at their own pace. You can start whenever you please.

Q. How much does it cost?

A. The big question! The course enrolment fees are listed on the course specification pages.

Q. Can I pay the course off over a period of time?

A. Sure, we have a payment plan for each course. You can pay off the course in six monthly instalments. Most participants opt to receive it all in one package and save 10% by paying in full.

Q. Who are the Tutors?

A. Kris Mills is the head tutor. Tutors are hand-picked for their ability to mentor participants.

Q. What is included in the course?

A. As you may have seen there are three courses. Each course focuses on a different area.

The Freelance Copywriting Success Fast-track course is primarily for people who want to become a freelance copywriter or for people who want to brush up on their overall copywriting skills.

The Direct Mail Copywriting Mastery course hones in on direct mail in more detail than the Freelance Copywriting course does, so this course is perfect for small businesses that send out a lot of direct mail and want to improve their results. OR for copywriters who have completed the Freelance Copywriting Success Fast-track course or experienced copywriters who want to discover advanced direct mail skills.

The Direct Mail course teaches you how to produce persuasive, powerful direct mail campaigns as well as show you actual examples of direct mail copy that has produced extraordinary results for clients.

The Website Copywriting Mastery course focuses on online copywriting specifically. It covers the basics of copywriting but it then looks at the specific elements of writing for the web and gives you a bunch of examples of the different forms of web writing as well.

You’ll get to see real-life case studies showing winning examples that you can learn from and apply in your own situation.

Q. I am a business owner. Will it help me in my small business or is it just for copywriters who want to learn how to improve their success?

A. The benefits to business owners who participate in this course are enormous. When you learn the fundamentals of what’s included in this course, every piece of communication within your business will improve, and even better, your ability to generate new business will go through the roof.

In a selling situation you may present to one or two people, but imagine if you could create a letter that could sell to one or two thousand people. The ability to create (or recognise) a powerful sales letter is one of the most profitable skills you’ll ever acquire.

Q. I am already a copywriter, will I learn something new?

A. I’ve found that I can read a book twice and I’ll always pick up something new. The same goes for these courses. What’s more, we dissect a number of marketing pieces and look at the ins and outs of what makes them so powerful. This in itself is a highly valuable part of the course.

We have several copywriters currently undertaking the courses and the feedback has been wonderful.

Q. I have never written anything before, will this material be too advanced for me?

A. Sometimes starting from scratch can be an advantage. The courses give you the basics and then throughout the course you progress to a more advanced level.

The courses are self-paced, so if you think you need to go over something for a second time you can. There is no pressure. Besides, your tutor can be contacted by email if you have any concerns.

Q. Are there any pre-requisites for enrolling in the course?

A. You must have a level of commitment and a good idea of what you want to get out of the course. Other than that, the courses are available to anyone who has a desire to learn the art of writing direct response copy.

Q. Is it Australian?

A. The courses have been developed in Australia by Kris Mills however many of the examples are from Australia AND the U.S.A..The principals behind the content and techniques are universal and apply to all markets.

Q. Do you help us find writing opportunities?

Q. What happens if I receive the course and I don't like it?

A. If you are not fully delighted, simply return it back to us in good condition, within 30 days of purchase and we’ll issue you a full refund minus postage and handling.

Q. I don't like paying over the internet, is there any other way I can pay?

Sure, you can pay by cheque, money order or fax us you credit card details and we can manually process the transaction from our end. We also accept Paypal and can arrange Direct Deposit if required.

Q. Does the course show me how to sell my services as a copywriter?

A. Yes, absolutely. Included in the course is a section called, “37 ways to freelance copywriting success”. These 37 tried and tested methods are the very same that Kris used to build a successful copywriting and direct marketing company. You’ll also find articles from other successful freelance copywriters showing you how to sell your work.

Q. Does it include examples of real-life winning ads and letters that I can learn from?

A. Yes. Kris has taken great care to give relevant examples throughout the course. Each example shows you how great ads have used the same techniques and then how you can then apply them as well.
